Good luck to all!

Hi there everyone - this is Dana tuning in again!

Thank you so much Yasmeen, Afaq and Mubs for your comments, sorry it's taken me so long to post another blog! I am just settling back into life at university after a lovely 9 days in Abu Dhabi with my dear family.

I believe it's nearing the end of the course and I just wanted to say good luck to those of you who have the IELTS coming up, you can do it!

I'm afraid I have to rush off to join a ward round now (we go around patients and the consultant asks us loads of questions about what they've got, it's usually rather hard and scary, but always a good learning experience). I will most certainly keep in touch and especially discuss some of your questions Mubs about working over in the UK.

So good luck to all and thank you for the warm welcome and continued interest from those of you who have taken the time to comment on my posts :)

All the best

Dana

That's my wee Dana, thinking of you all the way from London - see how she's special.

Will comment on Yasmeen's postings in due course.

Dear Dana..

I can not begin to imagine what life must be running around witnessing new patients/casualties.
My mother had her thyroid operation 10 years back. The very sight of blood had made me dizzy and nauseating. I wasnt allowed to see her in the hospital room after that by the doctors instruction.

i dont want to soundlike a pessimist but i often perceive life to be like a cold, dark and stagnant river with shades of purple and dark blue.Tragedies and misfortunes are always around the corner ready to blow over your ship.

But than, maybe thats just how i feel ,at my current phase of life.
Todays the last day of our class,Lord help us all..

I would definitely(my fav word)look forward to your replies concerning my queries.Infact iam quite amazed that you remember them:)

Keep in touch,

God be with you

Dear Zeena,

Thinking of you reminds me of my baby sister. She is 11 years old and very naughty.Apart from sneaking my chocolates , she loves watching cartoon network(johnny bravo,Ed,EDD and Eddy and the other crazy performers)and hates doing her science homework. She enjoys maths though and LOVVESSSSS reading story books, especially the horror/mystery ones.
Her final exams are starting by the end of this month.I have to help her as well as prepare for my IELTS. huffffffff!!!

Your father always tells us how difficult it is for you to practice violin ;same routine, same notes and same teacher. But dear Zeena, dont give up on it.I had tried mastering violin 3 years back, but i had to give up because my MBA lasses had started and i could not spare one hour daily for my practice.
Now, i regret it, because at that time, I had started getting used to the notes and various musical signs and even started playing baa baa blacksheep and other similar poems on my violin.
Imagine ,where i would have been now if i hadnt stopped and given up practice?

Btw, what does zeena mean?
is it an arabic word?

study hard..but take things easy :)
