Happy to be with you guys
Dear All,
First I would like to thank you all for being such a wonderful class. I hope that we can get over the IELTS exam from the first shot :)
I have gone through Yasmeen's Golden Advice abot IELTS exam, I really appreciate her for her great contribution. I would like to add to her comments that the student should be prepared mentally and use specific strategies ( as what Yasmeen's mentioned eg. reading the questions carefully, speed in going through the reading etc) in IELTS exam.
I do beleive that we will get the maximum benefits from this course. and one last thing to say, " its the student who will sit for the exam, not the teacher. therefore keep it, work hard"
Yours,
Abdul Rahim Ahmed

Thinking of sitting in the exam all alone and facing it gives me goosebumps, maybe because i still lack somewhere.
Yes, Abdul Rahim ,I DO hope the very same of getting it over with in the first attempt.
*fingers and toes crossed*
I just wish our current members could be more open/supportive when it comes on commenting, not just in the blog but also in class.
anyone to second me?
Got your message Abdul :)
IELTS is a prepartory course for the english language exam and not an english teaching course.
It can ONLY assist us in polishing our language skills.
Spoonfeeding would not do us any good.
Thank you Sir Tony, for your tireless efforts on guiding us how to cross the bridge, rest is upto us.
To get admirable results in all the four categories of ielts, active communication is the key word.
Hey guys!
This is MUCH more like it!
By all means I shall push and pull you - but as we say in English: "You can take the horse to the water, but . . .".
It'd be great to have more interaction within the class - I'll be working on that, too!
I've invited Yasmeen to talk to us next Tuesday - 26 April and will confirm that with her in due course.
Stand by for a post from regarding tonight's class and the looooooong weekend ahead.
Ciao
Tony Bealini
