TASK 2- ESSAY No.8
Forests are the lungs of the earth. Destruction of the world's forests amounts to death of the world we currently know. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Its is (rather shocking G mistake) a well known universal (one adjective will do)fact that death is inevitable, so must the end of Mother earth-gift to man from God (too wordy / not clear). Some believe in the utilization of the worlds (P) resources for a better present life. Others have faith in conserving the nature (G)for a longer and safer existence. In my discussion, I will lay down the facts in favour of a precautious (not in my lexicon Mubs!!)today for a greener tomorrow.
With the rush to catch up with the developed world and out of fear of being labeled “backwards” , many developing countries have traded their greener pastures for huge sky scarpers (S), large malls, flyovers and so on by cutting down trees and destroying natural habitats. Such a quest to satisfy one’s selfish needs has led to global warming due to more carbon dioxide in air (G) than normal levels. Consequently, we have witnessed terrible tragedies for example Acid rain and landslides which eventually progress to droughts and Tsunamis. Moreover, asthma cases in younger children have risen and kids (WC - ugly) as young as 4 years old have been seen using inhalers in school nowadays.
It is predicted that by the year 2015, all (?) birds and plants would (will?) die in Pakistan and water would (will?) become a rare commodity due to soaring levels of air pollution and the axing of trees. Plants help us to clean the atmosphere and create a natural balance. But, due to alarming (?) levels of toxins in air (G) and deforestation , the ozone layer has stopped being the earths (P) protective blanket against harmful rays. As a direct consequence, the cases of skin cancer are on rise (G).
Time is running out as we sit on the verge of another natural catastrophe, larger than anyTsunami, which is bound to happen any moment. By paying no attention to the falling dominoes of nature, sadly, we can fool others, but not the web of life.
My advice, Mubs, is to go easy on the rhetoric. Be radical, critical, unorthodox and so on, but please keep it simple and elegant. Just play the IELTS game.
Thanks for offering your thoughts. Come on the other sleepwalkers!
Good luck
Tony

Dear Yasmeen,
Take your time, as long as you DO check my essay's, because i do not see any one else helping me out.
Iam really trying to get as many solved before my exam.Speaking of exam, i dont know, the computer facility seems very inviting but would i be able to scribble and plan out my rough draft on paper before typing it on computer?
secondly, iam soo used to listening the voices on radio, what if my ears do not get used to the individual headphones?
i would certainly be using the LZ in a day or 2, lets c how it goes, than i would be able to decide what suits me more...manual or auto?
Thank you for checking my still-not-upto-the mark essay's.
(sigh)
Precautious:I looked up in the askoxford site, the word was not there.
On the other hand, i did find several synonyms for this particular word on my pc-MS Word thesaurus. (??!!)
These words and prepositions are going to drive me crazy.
