Essay No.2 **Writing task 2**

Telecommuting’ refers to workers doing their jobs from home for part of each week and communicating with their office using computer technology. Telecommuting is growing in many countries and is expected for most office workers in the coming decades. How do you think society will be affected by the growth of telecommuting?

With the advent of technology, one can mix business and pleasure and yet give 100%.Many disagree (to) with this (the)notion, concluding that both (the) aspects (things) are separate and should remain so. I believe in solving problems to help both the employee an (and the) boss as long as the output is up to the mark, whether it is done at home or with in(within) the office environment. Might want to keep it simple by using just (..or in office)

Some believe that as the telecommuting awareness increases, it will mean an end to the office culture. There would be no socializing amongst peers and above all, perhaps you will not even get to know who your colleagues are. More over (Moreover), work done at home cannot be 100% authentic as compared with that done within the office work place.

Coming to the other side of the coin, telecommuting could be a blessing for many. For instance, working mothers could stay at home, look after their infants and continue to work and earn. The early morning ‘rush hour’ syndrome would be over. What is more, (plus) career women can indulge in quality time at home without the hassles of finding a trusty (WC) baby sitter for their kids. More over(Moreover), physically challenged people could also work through computes(rs) within the privacy of their homes. There would be less absenteeism as workers would have the privilege of doing work from their homes. Consequently, employees on holiday(s) could also keep in touch with the work situation and lend a hand where ever (wherever/whenever) possible {Is that a good thing?}. Another positive aspect , is the less(WC lower) rate of turn over (turnover). Female workers on maternity leave will be able to work at home, thus saving the money a company needs to recruit and train a new worker. An example could further highlight my stand. My 18 year old friend had the experience of working for a legal translation company. Her job was to type whatever she heard on the audio file, which she received on her email through the company. This helped her earn a handsome amount of money and gain experience while (just by) sitting home.

In (my) conclusion, I believe such scientific/electronic progressions to be a positive {boon} (alternative) for many people. If the quality of work is enhanced whilst making life easier for workers, then (than) it surely must be welcomed.

Thank you for the corrections..umm...well as for the moreover and turnover spelling mistakes...blame it on the computer.
It just kept placing a red line whenever i wrote "moreover" "turnover" so i assumed there was a gap between them.
